Franco Leutewiler Henriques Advogados announced a new partner, Ricardo Medina Salla, in order to establish and oversee the firm’s infrastructure practice area, as well as boosting the arbitration and dispute resolution practice area. Our commitment to providing specialized, cutting-edge, and multidisciplinary legal services is once again established by a significant milestone in our firm’s development.

Ricardo Medina Salla is involved in all three phases of infrastructure, including raising investment, legal project modeling, and lump-sum contracts. In the second phase of the cycle, he advises clients on performing the project, providing diligent support for contract management for the whole term of the project and applying dispute resolution methods, among other measures, to avoid lawsuits. He is a major market reference in arbitration in the sector and contributes to the eminent arbitration team at Franco Leutewiler Henriques Advogados. Finally, in the third phase, Ricardo provides clients with ongoing asset management advice, including contractual and business consultation.

Ricardo also has an impressive track record of representing local and foreign clients in infrastructure arbitrations resulting from controversies arising in all phases of the cycle. Ricardo contributed to Municipal Law No. 16,873/2018, which governs the use of Dispute Boards in the city of São Paulo, as well as Bill No. 2,421/2021, which is presently being considered by the House of Representatives.
