Guilherme has more than a decade’s experience in dispute prevention and resolution, both in court and arbitration. He acts in a wide range of complex cases involving procedural issues and civil, commercial, corporate, administrative and regulatory law, in various branches of the economy.

His work has been recognized by The Legal 500 and Benchmark Litigation.

Track Record

– In his career, he has acted as a lawyer in legal and arbitration disputes involving the sale of shares in a food company worth more than R$1 billion.

– He represented clients in several public civil lawsuits that discussed the traffic of overweight vehicles on federal highways, whose claims had a major impact on business and reached multimillion-dollar sums.

– He advised former directors of an energy company in arbitration before CAM-FIESP and in related court litigation, in which the civil liability of a director of a corporation was discussed, in a claim for more than R$ 55 million.

– Acted in competition and regulatory litigation involving the entry of a third party into the aviation fuel distribution pool at Guarulhos Airport.

– Represented a multinational company in a legal dispute over a “Take or Pay” clause in a rail transportation contract worth more than R$ 32 million.

– He acted as the main legal adviser and litigation counsel for one of the largest trade associations in the country, liaising extensively with public bodies and authorities.

– He has represented investment funds and financial institutions in cases involving the preservation and/or recovery of important assets.

– For years, he served on the teams of Professors Nelson Nery Junior (2009-2011) and Tercio Sampaio Ferraz Junior (2018-2021).
